Frequently Asked Questions
What ages and skill level are the Razorback Baseball Camps geared toward?
Camps are offered to young athletes ages 6 through High School Seniors. Our programs are designed to accommodate players of all skill levels from beginner to top high school players. For the more advanced player, we offer Specialty Camps, such as Hitting/Defense, Pitching, and High School Prospect Camps. All camps are held at the nationally-ranked Baum-Walker Stadium and the Fowler Family Indoor Training Facility, home of the University of Arkansas Razorback Baseball Team in Fayetteville, AR.
What if my child has never played baseball?
We are excited to welcome the “new junior baseball players” in that one of our primary goals is to introduce the great game of baseball to as many “future players” as possible. Our curriculum has been developed to make the introduction to the game relaxed, non-intimidating, and most of all fun.
How can I be assured that my child will be safe and supervised?
We take your child’s safety as seriously as we take our own children’s. Our entire staff undergoes an extensive interviewing process and we also conduct extensive background checks on each of our staffers. We only hire teaching professionals who have experience working with juniors and understand how to make children feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
Is there a benefit to registering for consecutive weeks of camps?
By registering for multiple weeks of camp, your child will experience continued game development, as our instructors will have the opportunity to really get to know your child, his or her game, and how to get the most out of your child’s game.
Are there any special clothes or equipment that I need to purchase?
It is recommended kids bring their glove, bats/batting gloves to camp, but if bats are not available, we will be able to furnish. Catchers are responsible for bringing their own catching gear. Lastly, cleats or tennis shoes are acceptable. Additionally, we will offer Easton & Nike baseball merchandise for purchase in our camp store.
Where can I find detailed information for a camp that I’m already registered for such as what to bring, schedules, directions etc.?
After you register for one of our camps, a detailed confirmation and registration packet is emailed to you. The registration packet contains answers to all the important questions about camps, including what to bring with you, what time to arrive, as well as directions and maps to the facilities. This packet of information also contains important health and release forms, which every camper must complete before attending camp. These forms must be completed online.
What is your refund policy?
Cancellations received at least 90 days prior to camp start date, will be refunded less a $50 administration fee. All other cancellations are non-refundable.
